As a Pre-Feature Engineer, you will ensure the health of the automation lab for testing software updates, troubleshoot CI/CD pipeline issues, and contribute to the team's hardware and software solutions.
Provision new test stations and make them available for project use.
Ensure health of existing test stations [DUTs (devices under test), PCs, network, etc.] to guarantee uninterrupted test execution.
Troubleshooting CI/CD pipeline issues.
Maintain and contribute to the team's HW and SW solutions (scripts, HW solutions, build systems, and related tools) to address issues, add or enhance functionality, etc.
Contribute to team deliverables through involvement in agile scrum development sprints.
Qualification
Required
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology or a related field.
2+ years experience working in an OTA SW Updates automation lab environment with HW in the loop.
2+ years experience with automotive technologies, protocols, and tools.
2+ years experience in Object-oriented SW development including unit testing.
Preferred
Solid understanding of Linux commands and/or bash/shell scripting, SSH, etc.
Solid understanding of Windows OS and networking concepts.
Experience with defect tracking systems (ie: JIRA), and source code versioning control systems (GitHub)
Experience with CI/CD (continuous integration/continuous deployment) systems (ie: Jenkins).
