SS&C is a global provider of investment and financial software-enabled services and software focused exclusively on the global financial sector. As a Software Quality Engineer, you will design and revise test plans, maintain automation frameworks, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure software quality and adherence to standards.
Own the entire system testing process, including but not limited to analysis, design, executing test plans and cases, and conducting defect tracking.
Be able to cultivate deep understanding of business needs and technical roadmap and set clear quality standards in collaboration with other Engineering Managers and corresponding stakeholders.
Recommend process, testing methodology, and improve technology/QA tools.
Provide technical guidance to team members and enhance technical capabilities.
Introduce new techniques and methods to improve team productivity.
Work closely with cross-function teams in the early stage of product development lifecycle, to define test strategy, test plans and test coverage.
Qualification
Required
Bachelor’s degree and 2-5 years of work-related experience.
1-2 years applicable industry knowledge and software testing experience including demonstrated proficiency using testing tools and utilities.
3-5 years applicable industry knowledge and software testing experience including demonstrated proficiency using testing tools and utilities.
