Moog is a company that works on cutting-edge technical projects, including medical technology and space vehicles. They are seeking a Quality Assurance Engineer to improve production processes and provide quality support, ensuring adherence to standards and enhancing overall efficiency.
Improve production by conducting QE studies and providing quality support to manufacturing personnel.
Activities will include failure analysis, root cause and corrective action analysis, risk mitigation, material review, audit support, configuration control, and traceability.
Develop Quality plans for receiving inspection, manufacturing operations, and final inspection.
Work directly with internal customers to identify root cause and corrective action.
Improve cost for inspection and prevent cost due to failure through statistical analysis and problem solving.
Qualification
Required
Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related technical discipline. May consider combination of education/experience in lieu of degree.
Minimum of 1-3 years of Quality Engineering work experience in manufacturing including AS9100 standards or similar, statistics, spreadsheets, and database software packages.

Preferred
2 years of related experience in aerospace quality
