Textron Inc. is a multi-industry company that leverages its global network of aircraft, defense, industrial and finance businesses. The Quality Assurance Specialist will help solve complex quality challenges, ensuring product safety and compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements.
Perform multi-faceted operational-level assignments across military and commercial product lines within Integrated Operations and lead cross functional teams in applying data analysis in support of preventive, corrective, and continuous improvement projects that enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of manufacturing and MRO operations and the Quality Management System.
Support cross-functional teams in preventive and corrective action and continuous improvement projects to enhance quality and compliance to aerospace standards, regulatory requirements, engineering requirements, policies, and procedures.
Assist teams in the development of new or revised quality management system policies and procedures.
Support and advise the Quality Culture and Compliance team in their planning and execution of compliance activities.
Interface with internal/external organizations and systems in performance of the assigned Quality functions.
Communicate to operations leadership in both written and verbal communications, with all the interfacing functions.
Utilize strong interpersonal and leadership skills to guide others through your technical and professional expertise and experience.
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain, or related field.
Minimum 2 years of experience as a quality operations specialist or engineer, preferably in the aerospace industry, or automotive or other manufacturing industries.
Ability to support and guide cross-functional teams effectively and efficiently.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Able to foster and maintain effective relationships within Bell, as well as with customers and regulatory agencies, to confidently communicate technical issues with data.
Software system knowledge and skills (MS Word, Power Point, Excel, CAMs, MES, Power BI, SAP).
Project management skills and exposure in assisting with planning, executing, and overseeing projects.
Proficiency analyzing and interpreting variable and attribute data, using data collection methods, and ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
