Responsibilities

  • Assist in the design, development, and maintenance of software applications using languages such as JavaScript/Typescipt, C#, Active Server Pages (ASP)/.net, SQL, CSS, JQuery, Angular, React, AJAX, and C++
  • Create technical prototypes and assist with creation of software documentation including requirements, design, and user manuals.
  • Collaborate with team members to find better, more efficient ways to manage applications throughout their lifecycle.
  • Develop enterprise software solutions for business problems by using the latest tools, such as ASP.NET, Java, and other open-source technologies.
  • Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to underpin objectives of producing high quality code
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to write clean, maintainable, and efficient code using best practices and coding standards as guideposts
  • Troubleshoot and debug software application issues.
  • Contribute to documentation of software development processes, procedures, design specifications, user guides, and release notes

Qualification

Required

  • US Citizenship and an active DoD Secret clearance is required
  • A bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (i.e.: Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a similar major with extensive computer-based or technical content)
  • 1-2 years’ experience developing and maintaining software applications with JavaScript, C++, JQuery, AJAX, HTML, ASP.Net
  • 1-2 years’ experience using software tools such as Visual Studio, Visual C++ v6.x, SQL Server, and JBuilder 5.x
  • A deep understanding of engineering concepts, including Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP)
  • Excellent problem solving, written and verbal communication skills
  • Flexibility, ability to deal with ambiguity, and a desire to learn
  • IAT II certification required (Security+, Cloud+)

Preferred

  • Knowledge of Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe)
  • Experience with cloud platforms (e.g. Azure, AWS, Google Cloud)
  • Knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools (e.g. Docker, Kubernetes)
  • Experience with Azure DevOps and Git
  • Familiarity with CI/CD Pipelines
  • Experience with DevSecOps principles and DoD policies related to the topic
