Fiserv is a provider of technology solutions to the financial services industry, and they are seeking a Software Development Engineer - Advisor I. The role involves designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality software applications, while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver solutions that meet business goals and client needs.
Develop new user-facing features using React.js and modern JavaScript (ES6+).
Build reusable components and front-end libraries for future use.
Collaborate with designers, product managers, and back-end developers.
Translate designs and wireframes into high-quality code.
Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs.
Debug and resolve technical issues as they arise.
Participate in code reviews, maintain coding standards, and best practices.
Qualification
Required
Strong proficiency in JavaScript, including DOM manipulation and the JavaScript object model.
Thorough understanding of React.js and its core principles.
Experience with popular React.js workflows such as Redux.
Knowledge of modern authorization mechanisms, such as JSON web tokens.
Proficient with tools like Webpack, Babel, NPM/Yarn.
Familiarity with version control tools such as Git.
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education, work, and/or military experience.
Current Fiserv systems experience.
Preferred
Experience with TypeScript.
Experience working with Agile/Scrum development processes.
Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines.
Basic understanding of Node.js or Java.
