Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and enhance the software developed for ground systems and the real‑time capabilities that space missions rely on
  • Take ownership of complex engineering challenges
  • Modernizing legacy components
  • Architecting new mission‑focused capabilities that improve performance, resilience, and operational speed
  • Shape how data is processed, how systems communicate, and how mission teams execute with precision

Qualification

Required

  • 2+ years of experience in software development with programming languages, including Java, Python, Rust, or GO
  • Experience operating within an Agile environment
  • Experience writing source code for new applications or generating and enhancing code samples for existing applications
  • Experience using back-end and front-end languages to develop complete solutions
  • Experience creating solutions to complex problems within a collaborative, cross-functional team
  • Top Secret clearance
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering

Preferred

  • Experience with Linux-based systems, containers, and orchestration tools, including Docker or Kubernetes
  • Experience designing, modifying, developing, writing, and implementing software programming applications
  • Experience acquiring client requirements and resolving workflow problems through automation optimization
  • Experience working within a Cloud Solution Provider (CSP), including AWS, Azure, or Google
  • Experience with C#, C, C++, JavaScript, React, or Node.JS
  • Ability to work with automated testing tools to perform testing and maintenance
  • TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
  • Master's degree
