Booz Allen Hamilton is seeking a Software Engineer who will design, develop, and enhance software for ground systems that support mission-critical operations in the space domain. The role involves tackling complex engineering challenges and modernizing legacy components to improve performance and operational speed.

Shape how data is processed, how systems communicate, and how mission teams execute with precision
Qualification
Required
2+ years of experience in software development with programming languages such as Java, Python, Rust, or GO
Experience transitioning legacy applications to a modernized microservice-based architecture
Experience writing source code for new applications or generating and enhancing code samples for existing applications
Experience creating solutions to complex problems within a collaborative, cross-functional team
TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
Bachelor's degree
Preferred
Experience operating within an Agile environment
Experience with Linux-based systems, containers, and orchestration tools, including Docker or Kubernetes
Experience designing, modifying, developing, writing, and implementing software programming applications
Experience acquiring client requirements and resolving workflow problems through automation optimization
Experience working within a Cloud Solution Provider (CSP) such as AWS, Azure, or Google
Experience with C#, C, C++, JavaScript, React, or Node.js
Ability to work with automated testing tools to perform testing and maintenance
Master's degree
