Booz Allen Hamilton is seeking a Software Engineer to develop software that supports mission-critical operations across the space domain. The role involves designing, developing, and enhancing software for ground systems, tackling complex engineering challenges, and improving performance and operational speed.

Take ownership of complex engineering challenges, from modernizing legacy components to architecting new mission-focused capabilities
Shape how data is processed, how systems communicate, and how mission teams execute with precision
Qualification
Required
2 years of experience in software development with programming languages, including Java, Python, Rust, or GO
Experience transitioning legacy applications to a modernized microservice-based architecture
Experience writing source code for new applications or generating and enhancing code samples for existing applications
Experience using back-end and front-end languages to develop complete solutions
Experience creating solutions to complex problems within a collaborative, cross-functional team
TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
Bachelor's degree in CS or Software Engineering and 2 years of experience in software engineering, or 6 years of experience in software engineering in lieu of a degree
Preferred
Experience operating within an Agile environment
Experience with Linux-based systems, containers, and orchestration tools, including Docker or Kubernetes
Experience designing, modifying, developing, writing, and implementing software programming applications
Experience acquiring client requirements and resolving workflow problems through automation optimization
Experience working within a Cloud Solution Provider (CSP), including AWS, Azure, or Google
Experience with C#, C, C++, JavaScript, React, or Node.JS
Ability to work with automated testing tools to perform testing and maintenance
