Responsibilities

Implement new mission capabilities as part of a cross-functional Agile team
Develop modern Web-based, Java mission systems for the Nuclear community
Reflect secure coding, architectural, and usability best practices in software development
Collaborate with architecture, cyber, test, and product owner stakeholders to deliver capabilities

Qualification

Required

BS in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or equivalent STEM field
Must be a US Citizen; this position will require a government security clearance. This position is located at a facility that requires special access
Ability to develop Web or Java code in an Agile / DevSecOps team environment

Preferred

Familiarity with development tooling VS Code, GitLab, Gradle, GIT, JUnit, Selenium, JIRA
Experience with JavaScript Frameworks / Libraries (React/Angular/Vue), CSS, and HTML
Experience with Web Services (REST) or JSON/XML
Experience with Kafka
Java Spring, Spring Boot experience
Experience developing using microservice architectures
Experience with Relational Database Access / SQL / JPA / Hibernate
Engineering experience with AFNWC SMPES, MPAS, NPES Systems
