The role involves researching, architecting, designing, developing, and testing software for high-speed optical networking equipment, with a focus on enhancing network flexibility and operational automation.
Research, architect, design, develop, and test software for products, services, systems and tools
Define, create, integrate, verify and modify software/system components
Utilize innovative solutions to meet customer requirements and specifications
Leverage strong technical aptitude and excellent communication skills to become an expert for a key component of the system with complete ownership and responsibility for designing and implementing features
Qualification
Required
Minimum bachelor's degree in Computer engineering, Computer Science, or Electrical engineering equivalent or better
Experience in using C++, SDL and use of C++ boost libraries
Development experience in C++ in Linux systems and associated compilers and debuggers
A demonstrated track record of delivering high-quality object-oriented software
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a team
Ability to work in a fast-paced cross-functional R&D environment
Preferred
Experience writing device drivers or BSP software is desirable
Knowledge of Optical devices, OTN, Ethernet, or TDM protocols is desirable
