Work alongside experienced and knowledgeable software engineers and perform work that will continue to enhance and strengthen Viasat's global leadership in UHF SATCOM-related technologies.
Employ cutting-edge software technology and tools for development and continue to look for new ways to improve the development environment and workflow.
Qualification
Required
Completion of Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
0-3 years of full-time, relevant industry experience
U.S. citizenship
Experiences with C/C++ and Python
Exposure to JavaScript or TypeScript and web development
Familiarity with RDBMS technologies (MS SQL Server, MySQL, Oracle, etc.)
Preferred
Experiences with Visual Studio IDE and C#/.NET
Experiences with embedded software programming concepts and tools
Experiences using version control and issue tracking tools (e.g., Git, Jira, Perforce, etc.)
Ability to obtain and maintain U.S. secret security clearance
