The Software Engineer I will design, develop, review, and deploy clinical ECG applications while collaborating with cross-functional and global teams, participating in cybersecurity and Agile processes, and maintaining project documentation and software management tools.
Participate in the design, development, review, and deployment of clinical ECG applications
Collaborate with software developers, system test engineers, user experience engineers, project management, and quality team members to identify, report, and troubleshoot defects in a detailed, efficient, and timely manner
Participate in cybersecurity reviews and updates
Participate in Agile and iterative software development processes to work towards achieving individual and team goals
Create project documentation per quality system requirements
Use software version control, issue tracking, requirements and task management tools in day-to-day work
Coordinate and collaborate with global team members
Qualification
Required
* Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering
* Previous internship experience with Boston Scientific
* Experience using Angular frontend with node.js backend technologies to create and modify clinical applications through the software development lifecycle
* 3 months experience in Software engineering at a medical device company
* Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship, now or in the future, for employment-based work authorization
Preferred
* Excellent communication skills and strong writing skills to document and communicate designs to a cross-functional audience
* Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
* Collaborative, flexible mindset
* Passion to stay on top of development trends and tools
* Experience with Azure Blob Storage
* Experience with defect tracking and SDLC management tools such as Azure DevOps, JIRA, Confluence
* Experience developing in a continuous integration environment
