Responsibilities

  • Work on technical problems and provide innovative solutions, with guidance as needed
  • Work at all phases of the SW development lifecycle, including SW/HW integration
  • Develop RT embedded SW, specifically pertaining to various radar modes and capabilities
  • Utilize investigation and troubleshooting skills to assess issues and develop solutions
  • Work with teams across multiple disciplines, internal and external
  • Join program and customer meetings/reviews
  • Support the team leads as needed regarding technical decision making, problem resolution
  • Help to ensure performance to technical, cost, schedule, quality
  • Support of system and software requirements and architecture generation and analysis as needed
  • Must be able to obtain "special access programs" (SAP/SAR) for continuation of employment
  • Work Location: Onsite at our El Segundo, CA Campus

Qualification

Required

  • Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and less than 2 years of prior relevant experience
  • Development experience coding in C/C++/ADA or related languages/tools
  • Experience working on UNIX, Linux, Windows, VxWorks or other RTOS
  • Experience working in an agile/scrum team hyper-collaborative team environment using typical agile oriented tool suite
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
  • Must be able to obtain 'special access programs' (SAP/SAR) for continuation of employment

Preferred

  • Introductory Experience with design, code, integration, and test of software into a large software baseline and large system
  • Current DoD Secret and Top Secret Clearance
  • Experience developing Radar Software applications
  • Direct experience with Agile methodologies
  • Analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot tool and system operation performance issues
  • Experience with large complex systems such as airborne radars
