Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the development of our next-generation, GPU-accelerated reconstruction platform under the guidance of senior engineers
  • Work alongside engineers, physicists, and other team members to implement signal and image processing algorithms in efficient, high-performance code
  • Write, test, document, and maintain software as part of an industry-leading CT reconstruction platform
  • Learn to analyze algorithm specifications and prototypes to help identify efficient compute designs
  • Use AI-assisted development tools to speed your work, and explore how learned models can approximate expensive physics with fast, accurate equivalents
  • Deliver quality software with a growing focus on end users, quality (QMS/regulatory standards), performance, safety, and security

Qualification

Required

  • You have a bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Electrical or Computer Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, Biomedical Engineering, or a related field
  • You have 1+ year of professional experience, including internships or co-ops, developing software in C++
  • You have a strong foundation in C++ from coursework, projects, or work experience
  • You have a foundation in image or signal processing
  • You must be able to successfully perform the following minimum Physical, Cognitive and Environmental job requirements with or without accommodation for this position

Preferred

  • Exposure to GPU programming (CUDA, OpenCL, or HIP) is a plus
  • Curiosity about applying machine learning to accelerate scientific or physics computation is a plus
  • A background in the theory of medical image formation is a plus
