U.S. Bank is seeking a Software Engineer to join their team in New York, NY. The role involves analyzing, designing, developing, and maintaining applications for Talech and U.S. Bank products, while enhancing services performance and user experience.
Analyze, design, develop and maintain applications for Talech and U.S. Bank products
Develop and optimize inventory tracking to improve users experience by using Knockout.js and server side render
Enhance services performance and security by upgrading the PHP framework from Laravel 4 to Laravel 8
Implement easy payments like Apple Pay on the new microsite, maintain and optimize a React library for the uniform payment flow
Improve user experience and maintenance by upgrading the merchant’s online ordering website from Knockout.js to React, meeting the Accessibility requirement
Build and maintain documents for project wiki and onboarding documents using Confluence
Evaluate, report, and document project outcomes, project statuses, schedules, issues, resolutions and completions
Provide production support for Talech’s web product issues
Use Redis to improve the performance of Talech’s web product
Qualification
Required
Requires a Master's degree in Computer Engineering or Computer Science plus 2 years of experience as a Software Developer, Software Engineer, or related
Will accept a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science plus 5 years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience as a Software Developer, Software Engineer, or related in lieu of a Master's degree plus 2 years of experience
Must possess 2 years of experience with Master's or 5 years of experience with Bachelor's with each of the following: (a) analyzing, designing, and developing applications; (b) enhancing services performance and security by upgrading the PHP framework; (c) managing the lifecycles of software development (SDLC) and Go To Market strategy/releases; (d) building, testing, and modifying APIs using Postman; (e) utilizing all of the following: application development; Software Development Lifecycles (SDLC); Front-End Development; PHP; HTML; CSS, Node.js; AJAX; JavaScript; TypeScript; Laravel; MySQL; LAMP; AWS; Git; and Postman
