Responsibilities

  • Developing software products that directly support the design and development of the GWS capability on behalf of the Missile Defense Agency (MDA)
  • Demonstrated experience maturing/developing models and interfaces using C++ and XML
  • Thrive in a fast-paced work environment with high expectations, significantly diverse assignments, and collaborative/teams comprised of all experience levels

Qualification

Required

  • Bachelor's Degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics) discipline from an accredited university and 2 years of relevant work experience; or a Masters Degree in STEM and 0 years of work experience
  • Demonstrated experience developing models and interfaces for TEx / ITEx
  • Demonstrated experience programming in C, C++ and Python with the ability to interpret other languages such as JAVA or ADA
  • Demonstrated experience using software version control tools such as Git, BitBucket, and Artifactory
  • Demonstrated ability to think critically and capture concepts in work products, presentations, and discussions
  • Fluency with XML
  • Experience with the System Engineering Lifecycle and artifacts as they related to modeling and simulation (for example ICDs, SDDs, etc.)
  • Strong understanding of the BMDS
  • Must possess good communication skills
  • Capable of working both independently and within a team environment
  • Applicants must have a current active in-scope U.S. Government DoD issued Secret security clearance at the time of application which is required to start
  • Ability and willingness to travel up to 10% of the time

Preferred

  • Experience with Unit Test and System Test Development
  • Experience developing software for hardware in the loop applications
  • Familiarity or Experience with the Ground Test Integrated Simulation System (GTISS) and Single Stimulation Framework (SSF)
  • Ability and willingness to travel up to 10% of the time
