They are seeking a Mid-Level Software Engineer to design, build, test, and maintain scalable software systems, focusing on both front-end and back-end services and API development.
Responsible for writing and maintaining source code, creating and maintaining software applications and applying frameworks involved in a software release
Duties include computer programming, documenting, managing configuration, testing, and bug fixing involved in creating and maintaining applications and frameworks involved in a software release life cycle and resulting in a software product
Expertise in one or more programming language is required
Works to achieve day-to-day objectives with moderate impact on the area/ project team. Works independently on larger, moderately complex projects/assignments. May assist other technical staff with tasks and assignments
Communicates with colleagues across multiple areas (project managers, other technical resources, etc.). Explains technical solutions, practices and procedures to others within the organization
Qualification
Required
Typically requires BS degree and 2 – 4 years of prior relevant experience or Masters with less than 2 years of prior relevant experience
Must hold an active Secret security clearance
Expertise in front end web application development in one or more programming languages is required

Knowledge of working with relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, etc.)
Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
Experience with Agile project management software such as Jira, Confluence, etc
Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes
Experience with version control systems such as Git
Knowledge of software architecture, design patterns, and system scalability
Preferred
Experience with frontend frameworks (React, Angular, or Vue)
Experience building RESTful APIs and microservices interfaces
Knowledge of infrastructure-as-code (IaC) tools (Hashicorp Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible)
Experience with observability tools (Datadog, Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch, Elastic Search)
A working knowledge and experience with the following are preferred as they will be used to complete Software Engineering tasks: SAFe 6, EDB Postgres, an IDE such as Eclipse or IntelliJ, Git, Python, Jenkins, Kubernetes, Argo, Docker, Red Hat Linux, SQL Developer, Jira, Bitbucket, OpenShift, SmartBear ReadyAPI, SoapUI, LoadUi, Java, Spring, Maven/Gradle, ActiveVOS, Camel, NEIM XML, EBTS, SecDevOps
