IDEX Corporation is a leader in wastewater monitoring equipment and services, seeking a Software QC Analyst to enable the delivery of high-quality software. The primary responsibility of this role is to develop and execute manual test cases for their cloud-based sensor management and data analytics software product called PRISM.
Works with software developers and the QC Manager to develop manual test cases for PRISM
Executes manual test cases
Collaborates with the automated test team to automate manual test cases
Logs issues during testing process
Tests and verifies fixes for logged issues
Works with the QC team leadership to test software releases – hot fixes, minor fixes, and full regression releases
Assess User Story requirements for user workflow and sends feedback to Product Management
Works with Product Management to provide our customers with an extraordinary quality experience
Works with internal and external customers to develop workflow and test the product against those workflows to ensure delivery of value
Qualification
Required
Degree in Engineering or Computer Science or Mathematics (or equivalent)
1+ years of experience testing software products
Preferred
Experience with Agile Scrum
Experience with test case management software
Experience with Azure DevOps or other issue management software
Bias towards automation testing
