Lockheed Martin is a leading aerospace and defense company, and they are seeking a Software Quality Engineering Associate to support software quality engineering activities. The Associate will work under the guidance of experienced Software Quality Engineers and contribute to ensuring software products meet safety and compliance standards.
Supports software quality engineering activities throughout the software development lifecycle to help ensure software products are safe, secure, reliable, and compliant with customer, regulatory, and contractual requirements
Participates in software process evaluations, product evaluations, defect prevention, risk identification, data analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives supporting mission-critical aerospace and defense programs

Required
Must be a U.S. citizen
Must be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Department of Defense Secret security clearance (or higher, as required)
Recent college graduates with a BS degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related technical discipline
1+ years of professional experience
Internship, cooperative education, or senior design project experience
Basic programming knowledge (C++, Java, Python, C#, or similar)
Understanding of software engineering principles
Knowledge of software development lifecycle concepts
Familiarity with software testing concepts
Understanding of object-oriented programming
Strong problem-solving abilities
