The Technology Development Program Associate will participate in an 18-month rotational program, collaborating on agile engineering teams and developing solutions across web, mobile, backend, cloud, and AI-powered technologies.
A challenging role where you will work collaboratively on agile teams with diverse and talented colleagues who are ready to take on new and unexpected challenges while building the next wave of engineering solutions
Current, state of the art technology and tools, including working with a cloud-native stack, building on AWS using technologies like Kubernetes and Serverless
Experience working with cutting-edge AI coding tools to enhance productivity, accelerate development, and continuously improve code quality
Technical mentorship and training through meetups, conferences, certifications and tech talks to build out your skillset on topics such iOS and Android, AWS, Open Source Big Data tools, Security, Voice Driven Applications and more
Exposure to Technology executives and a diverse network of skilled engineers
The opportunity to rotate roles and work with a variety of tools and technologies and to learn from different leaders throughout the Tech organization

Qualification
Required
* Currently has, or is in the process of obtaining, a Bachelor's degree or higher with an expectation that you will complete your most recent full-time degree program by August 2027 or earlier
* Participation in the program requires that you are located in the continental United States with in-person attendance at your assigned location, in accordance with Capital One's hybrid working model

Preferred
* Bachelor's degree or higher in a technical or quantitative discipline, including computer science, computer engineering, information systems, information technology, and mathematics
* Strong analytical, quantitative, problem solving and conceptual skills
* Strong interpersonal, leadership and communication skills
* Intermediate to advanced programming skills or experience in one or more of the following areas: Go, Kotlin, Python, Java, HTML, Swift, XML, JSON, UML, JavaScript, SQL, PL/SQL, Shell scripts, Objective C, C#, C/C++, Perl, .net, asp.net, Visual Basic
* Experience leveraging interactive AI tooling to accelerate productivity, utilizing capabilities beyond basic code completion
