Standex International is a global industrial growth company focused on innovation across various sectors. As a Test Engineer, you will ensure product quality and functionality by designing tests, conducting various types of testing, and collaborating with development teams to troubleshoot issues.
Create test plans and scripts to ensure hardware meets specified standards and requirements
Execute various types of testing, including functional, performance, security, and regression testing, to identify bugs and ensure product reliability
Analyze test results, troubleshoot errors, and work with development teams to resolve issues effectively
Create test plan and test procedure documents. Write detailed reports on test results, document defects, and maintain records of testing processes and outcomes
Work closely with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to understand product features and testing requirements
Contribute to the development of testing methodologies and processes to enhance product quality and efficiency
Test Engineers typically work in an office setting or on the factory floor. Occasional short-term travel may be required
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, or a related field preferred
Military experience or other extensive test experience may be used in lieu of a degree
Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail to identify and address issues effectively
Excellent verbal and written communication skills to collaborate with team members and document findings
Preferred
Previous work experience as a Test Engineer or in a similar role is preferred
Familiarity with testing equipment such DVM's, Oscilloscopes, Network Analyzers
Ability to develop test systems
Experience with Voltech is a huge plus
