Responsibilities

Effectively interact and communicate with development managers to understand test needs
Assist in the development and maintenance of software test programs and tools
Create test environments (both real and simulated) for use in the validation and development processes
Enhance the test coverage over time with tight cooperation with the Design and Applications Engineering teams
Maintain and update test suites as new functionality is added
Create test plans and test specifications
Refine and build up the test software architecture
Evaluate new methods to improve overall quality and testing efficiency
Able to identify / debug / track issues
Publish bug metrics and status updates
