Brady Corporation is a global leader in safety and identification solutions, seeking an Associate UX Designer to create intuitive digital experiences across their websites and mobile applications. The role involves applying UX best practices, contributing to the design system, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance user-centered interfaces.
Apply UX best practices and design fundamentals, including information hierarchy, interaction design, accessibility, responsive layouts, and component reusability to ensure consistency and scalability across global experiences.
Contribute to the design and maintenance of Sticky™, Brady’s global design system—documenting components, updating Figma libraries, and ensuring accessibility (WCAG 2.2 AA) standards.
Support Figma prototype production, annotation, and developer handoff to ensure designs are accurately implemented across devices and browsers.
Assist in content and component creation, QA and maintenance during Sitecore XM and Adobe Magento 2 platform migrations.
Participate in design reviews, taking feedback from senior designers and translating it into actionable improvements.
Collaborate cross-functionally with content designers, merchandisers, and developers to maintain cohesive, user-centered interfaces.
Observe and assist with usability testing, analytics reviews through Quantum Metric and Adobe Clarity, and user feedback loops to understand how UX decisions impact performance.
Responsibly and effectively advocate for the customer, fostering a shared understanding of the customer-centric intersection between design, content, business, and marketing values.
Maintain the communication and information hierarchy along the top of the funnel, e-commerce, search and browse path to navigate and filter customers to their desired location with ease.
Qualification
Required
Bachelor’s degree in Design, HCI, Interactive Media, or equivalent professional experience.
0–1 years of UX or UI design experience, or a related internship, co-op, or portfolio project experience.
Understanding of UX fundamentals: layout, visual hierarchy, information architecture, and accessibility.
Familiarity with Figma (or similar tools) and interest in maintaining scalable design systems.
Foundational knowledge of responsive design, HTML/CSS concepts, and cross-browser behavior.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail when producing and labeling specifications.
Eagerness to learn, ask questions, and grow within a collaborative, agile environment.
Preferred
Familiarity with Sitecore, Adobe Magento, or other CMS tools is a plus.
