E*TRADE from Morgan Stanley is a leading global financial firm, seeking an Associate UX Designer to enhance their digital platforms. The role involves collaborating closely with UX leads and research teams to create user-centered designs that meet client needs and business goals.
Working closely with the UX lead, help formulate and execute the product vision by being involved in every step of the end-to-end product design process
Understand and document the underlying needs and motivation of our clients to ensure we achieve business goals and provide value to our clients
Work closely with our research team to synthesize qualitative and quantitative data and make value-driven design decisions that translate into clear, simple UIs
Create and present a variety of design deliverables (sketches, wireframes, user flows and prototypes) in a way that engenders confidence in you and your solutions with the team and the greater organization
Design and deliver responsive/adaptive solutions that are optimized for web and mobile interfaces and partner with engineers to translate designs into successful products
Work closely with the larger Wealth Management UX team to share design best practices, align on patterns, and promote a design-centric culture at the firm
Advocate for all user abilities by thoroughly testing design deliverables to meet WCAG ADA compliance
Qualification
Required
You have an outstanding portfolio that demonstrates how you have created experiences that solved business and user needs
You've spent 2-5 years as a UX designer who was a key contributor to the success of products that have launched
You have a bachelor's degree in design or related field
You have excellent skills in Figma
You have experience designing intuitive interfaces that enhance user experience and drive customer engagement
You can leverage research, wireframes and prototypes to effectively validate and enhance your design concepts to achieve the best possible solutions for your users
You thrive in a collaborative, explorative environment and you value being on a diverse team to brainstorm and get feedback from within a large organization
You practice active listening and contribute in group situations, like brainstorms, audits, critiques, and whiteboard sessions
You get excited by complex projects with high levels of ambiguity and are resilient in the face of obstacles
