Sky is a leading media and entertainment company focused on delivering innovative products and services. They are seeking an Associate UX Designer to support user research, create UX artifacts, and collaborate within a cross-functional product team to enhance user experiences.
Support user research — assist with usability testing, surveys and interviews to understand customer needs
Summarise user insights — gather, organise and communicate findings that inform design decisions
Create UX artefacts — produce wireframes, user flows and simple prototypes with guidance from senior designers
Shape information structures — contribute to clear navigation, content layout and overall user journeys
Apply usability and accessibility principles — ensure designs meet recognised standards and support inclusive experiences
Collaborate across disciplines — work closely with Product Managers, Engineers and Designers in an agile product team
Iterate based on feedback — refine designs using input from stakeholders, testing and research
Grow your UX capability — develop your skills through coaching, feedback and hands‑on project work
Qualification
Required
Foundational UX experience — some exposure to UX, interaction design or a related discipline
Portfolio of work — examples of academic or commercial UX projects demonstrating core skills
Familiarity with design tools — ideally Figma or similar
Understanding of user‑centred design — awareness of key principles and methods
Strong communication — able to articulate ideas clearly within a team environment
Growth mindset — openness to feedback and a desire to learn
Preferred
Degree or equivalent in a relevant field
