IBM is seeking a passionate and strategic Entry Level Hardware User Experience Designer to join their Industrial Design team. The role involves engaging with various teams to define and develop hardware products, collecting data, sharing insights, and transforming challenges into actionable items to improve products and user experiences.
Engaging with the rest of the Industrial Design team and all parties involved in the definition and development of a hardware product (product management, mechanical development, testing, ...)

Qualification
Required
BFA in Industrial Design or Human Factors / Ergonomics
Knowledge of Hardware UX Design practices and principles
Familiarity with field research such as ethnographies, interviews, etc.
Experience conducting usability studies to inform design
Proficiency in collecting and organizing data and presenting insights
Interest in design thinking facilitation and methodologies
Preferred
Experience with research/survey tools to collect both qualitative and quantitative data points
Knowledge of enterprise IT hardware
Familiarity with CAD and 3D render tools
