Junior UI/UX Designer

Nerdio is a company focused on simplifying the lives of IT professionals by maximizing their Microsoft cloud investments. They are seeking a detail-oriented Junior UI/UX Designer to collaborate with product managers, developers, and other designers to create intuitive user-centered experiences for their products.

Responsibilities

Assist in designing user interfaces and experiences
Collaborate with product managers, developers, and other designers to help maintain and evolve design systems
Create wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes
Support accessibility and usability practices
Improve designs and systems based on internal and external feedback
Participate in user research, testing, and feedback sessions
Leverage AI-assisted design tools and emerging technologies to enhance the creation of mockups, prototypes, and visual concepts
Create and maintain UI component libraries

Qualification

Required

Bachelor's or master's degree in design or related field
Understanding of user-centered design principles
Experience in UI/UX design for B2B SaaS web applications
Proficiency in design tools such as Figma and Adobe Creative Suite
Experience using AI-assisted tools such as Claude Design and Figma Make
Strong portfolio showcasing complex and innovative design solutions
Strong attention to detail and visual consistency
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Ability to balance user needs, business goals, and technical constraints
Ability to listen to feedback and reiterate on designs

Preferred

Experience with usability testing or user research
Front-end development principles
Familiarity with accessibility standards
