Nasdaq is a leading global financial services company, and they are seeking a Junior UX Designer to join their team. In this role, you will craft user-centered digital experiences for web platforms, collaborating with designers, product managers, and developers to create functional and visually appealing interfaces.
Produce wireframes, prototypes, interaction designs and user flows using Figma
Conduct and analyze research to gain user insight and incorporate this feedback into designs.
Collaborate with design, product and development teams to ensure a high-quality implementation and user experience.
Track and deliver assigned tasks using tools such as Jira and Confluence.
Contribute to building and evolving tools, processes, standards and design frameworks to continuously improve our UX craft.
Qualification
Required
Degree in Human Computer Interaction or equivalent experience.
2-3 years in a user experience design role.
Knowledge of design fundamentals including information design, visual design, industry UI standards for desktop, web-based and mobile applications, and has knowledge of usability best practices.
Great communicator who works well in collaborative, global environments.
Comfortable with tools like Figma, Salesforce, Jira, etc.
Preferred
Design or user experience-related certification, like Certified Usability Analyst (CUA) or a UX Certification from NN/g.
Experience in capital markets, fintech, or regulated industry.
Familiarity with working across global teams and cultures.
