The Service Design Senior Analyst will contribute to the design of better services by conducting research, creating artefacts, and collaborating with teams to enhance user experiences.

Responsibilities

  • Support the conduct of qualitative research activities — interviews, observation, and note-taking
  • Contribute to the synthesis of research findings into themes, insights, and opportunity areas
  • Assist in the creation of service design artefacts including personas, journey maps, and service blueprints
  • Support the design and facilitation of co-design workshops under the guidance of senior designers
  • Develop your visual communication skills, producing clear and considered artefacts
  • Support the delivery of a service design workstream with quality and care
  • Collaborate actively with product, content, and technology team members
  • Manage your own tasks and time effectively within project timelines
  • Engage with client teams in a professional and collaborative manner
  • Develop confidence presenting research and design thinking to stakeholders
  • Build an understanding of client context, user needs, and organisational dynamics

Qualification

Required

  • 1–3 years of relevant experience in service design, UX research, or a related field
  • Exposure to qualitative research methods and user interviews
  • Awareness of service design artefacts including journey maps and personas
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Design, Social Science, or a related field
  • Bring genuine curiosity about people, organisations, and the systems that connect them
  • Approach new methods and challenges with openness and a willingness to learn
  • Demonstrate care and quality in your work, however small the task
  • Early-stage service design portfolio demonstrating research participation and artefact quality
  • Awareness of qualitative research methods and service design thinking
  • Ability to produce clear journey maps, personas, and supporting research materials
  • Eagerness to develop facilitation skills and confidence presenting to stakeholders
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Collaborative, team-first mindset
