Responsibilities

Design, develop, and evaluate cutting-edge user interfaces for Ansys products and services
Demonstrate fluency in visual design principles with meticulous attention to detail
Apply a strong understanding of typography and color theory to enhance user experiences
Utilize creative applications such as Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe In-Design, or similar to produce high-quality mockups and assets
Assess, prioritize, and address UX-focused software problems, ensuring optimal usability and satisfaction

Qualification

Required

Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in UX/UI or a related field
Experience with Adobe Creative Suite and familiarity with CAD/CAE tools in any form
Detail-oriented with highly developed organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
Understanding of the software development process and ability to communicate effectively with software development teams
Ability to smoothly iterate on designs, take direction, adjust, and re-focus towards a converged design
Strong communication skills for email, chat, remote meetings, and usability evaluations
Ability to prototype rapidly using any available tools

Preferred

Completed or working toward a certificate in HCI
Experience with modeling and simulation applications; proficiency with UI implementation tools such as Photoshop, Illustrator, and Figma
