TikTok is the leading destination for short-form mobile video. The UX Designer will work with the seller and platform design team to create intuitive experiences for sellers and buyers, focusing on problem identification and ideation.
Identify seller pain points through data, feedback, and usability studies
Brainstorm and explore ideas that address core user problems, using conceptual flows and interactive prototypes
Collaborate with cross-functional partners (PMs, engineers, content designers) to align on opportunities and problem definitions
Drive early design explorations, helping the team evaluate multiple directions before refinement
Conduct usability testing by preparing prototypes, gathering feedback, and synthesizing insights
Document design ideas clearly and share them with teammates for discussion and iteration
Learn and grow by contributing to team critiques, design reviews, and shared system improvements
Qualification
Required
Minimum 1-2 years of experience in product or UX design across mobile and web apps, with a background in HCI, Interaction Design, Information Design, or a related field
A proven track record of shipping complex multi-role product flows with multiple states and scenarios
Ability to articulate opportunities via journey mapping and translating insights into ideas through sketches, wireframes, or prototypes
Strong visual and interaction design skills with attention to layout, typography, and pixel details
Good communication skills, comfortable sharing ideas and collaborating with cross-functional partners
Eager to learn, open to feedback, and adaptable in a fast-moving environment
