They are seeking a User Experience Designer who will collaborate with agile development teams to create user-friendly products that meet customer needs and add business value.
Collaborate with agile development teams and other stakeholders to deliver products and features that deliver value to both our customers and our business
Participate in design workshops to ideate on solutions that will create intuitive user experiences and eliminate customer difficulties
Work with agile development teams to create product designs including creating personas, user flows, storyboards, wireframes, mockups, and other design artifacts as needed
Follow the Emerson design standards to provide design consistency across our product portfolio and help maintain those design standards as needed
Actively seek feedback from end users about product designs and use that feedback to improve the designs
Qualification
Required
Bachelor’s degree in User Experience Design, Human Factors, Graphics Design, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
2+ years of related experience
Preferred
A design portfolio demonstrating command of a holistic design process and the ability to create design artifacts because of that process
Experience with agile development methodologies
Familiarity with Figma or similar UI design tools
Mobile application experience preferred
5 years of experience
