Responsibilities

Partner with product, marketing, and engineering stakeholders in brainstorming new initiatives and uncovering key business problems
Curate new design patterns through collaboration with other designers in the organization
Recommend design improvements and optimizations through the evaluation of existing products, competitive offerings, and industry trends
Develop prototypes, both low and high fidelity, for new initiatives
Create designs and experiences that scale across the platform, avoiding one-off solutions to problems
Produce detailed design documentation and assets for use by engineers to efficiently deploy across desktop, mobile web, and native applications
Embrace multivariate testing in the pursuit of the best possible user experience for our customers
Mentor and partner with other designers within the organization

Qualification

Required

You have a Bachelor's degree in a design-related discipline or field of study
You have 2+ years of proven design experience for web-based product
Collaboration is your middle name
You are open to give and receive candid feedback with humility and an open mind
You have significant experience using modern design tools such as Figma or Adobe XD
You have experience in designing e-commerce products for a mobile-first user base
Your design portfolio demonstrates an ability to craft creative solutions to challenging problems
Your choices of motion, color, visual hierarchy, and typography are reflective of the overall product experience and user journey
You enjoy questioning the status quo and are always willing to voice tough questions
You pride yourself on your ability to communicate your position and reinforce it with strong analytical underpinnings
