Jacobs is a leading engineering solutions provider, collaborating with NASA on space exploration initiatives. The User Experience (UX) Designer will work closely with a diverse team to create web prototypes and enhance products related to NASA's scientific missions.
Work in a small development team environment alongside NASA scientists, engineers, flight controllers, and other professionals to design web prototypes interfaces for science data sets from NASA's International Space Station and Artemis missions
Design feature enhancements to core products in the EVA Mission System Software portfolio
Develop science data visualization designs, graphic designs, and communications products for exploration science projects and mission data
Assist with science mission operations, communications, and team coordination for Artemis mission simulations and real time operations
Perform other duties as required
Qualification
Required
Typically requires a bachelor’s degree in a related area and normally possess 3 years of work experience.
Bachelor's in Communications, Multimedia, Infomatics, or Industrial Design
0-5 years of work experience
Experience with industry standard design tools
Proof of U.S. Citizenship or US Permanent Residency may be a requirement for this position.
Must be able to complete a U.S. government background investigation.
