Gartner is a leading consulting firm that helps clients enhance business performance through technology. They are seeking a talented UX Designer to contribute to product discovery, design, and development, focusing on creating quality user experiences and interfaces.
Your main responsibility will be to execute all visual design stages from conception to final hand-off to Frontend Engineering, maintaining our style and consistency.
Plan and execute research, from heatmaps to user testing, to inform your design decisions.
Understand and use analytics data to report insights and improve user experience metrics.
Create a variety of deliverables: from user journeys and personas to flows, wireframes, mockups and test-ready prototypes.
Track, measure and understand impact, to iterate on current experiences and envision opportunities for new ones.
Qualification
Required
2+ years experience as a UX/UI designer / Product Designer or similar role. You must be able to showcase and speak to your portfolio, and how your work qualifies you for this role.
Deep understanding of the design process – especially related to digital products – and the ability to work at all levels of the UX process.
Ability to solve problems creatively and effectively.
Expertise in Figma is essential.
Experience working closely with developers through writing UX/UI development handoffs.
Familiarity with agile sprint planning.
Knowledge of the fundamentals of design systems, their growth and maintenance.
Preferred
Superior visual design capabilities are preferred.
Experience with user testing and interviews, and analytics tools to understand user behavior is a plus.
Skills in motion design and basic understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript are beneficial.
