Responsibilities

  • Conduct user research activities such as interviews, surveys, and usability testing to gain insights into user behaviors, needs, and preferences
  • Use research findings to inform design decisions and validate design solutions
  • Develop site maps, user flows, and navigation structures to create a logical and intuitive user experience
  • Organize content and functionality in a way that enhances usability and findability
  • Create wireframes, prototypes, and interactive mockups to illustrate design concepts and interactions
  • Define and document interaction patterns and design guidelines for consistent user experiences
  • Plan and conduct usability testing sessions to evaluate the effectiveness of design solutions and identify areas for improvement
  • Collect and analyze user feedback and iterate on designs based on test results
  • Work closely with product managers, engineers, and visual designers to ensure the successful implementation of design solutions
  • Collaborate on defining product requirements, feature prioritization, and design specifications
  • Advocate for user-centered design principles and methodologies throughout the product development process
  • Continuously stay updated with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in UX design

Qualification

Required

  • A minimum of 2-4 years relevant industry experience
  • An undergraduate degree or equivalent experience in Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Interaction Design, or Graphic Design
  • Proficiency in user research techniques, such as user interviews, surveys, and usability testing
  • Expertise in information architecture, interaction design, and prototyping tools (e.g., Figma, Adobe XD, InVision, Axure)
  • Familiarity with front-end development technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and their impact on user experience
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively present and articulate design concepts and rationale
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and a user-centered mindset
  • Up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in UX design
  • A portfolio showcasing case studies, including research, wireframes, prototypes, and shipped products
