BMC Software is a business service management platform offering cloud and IT management solutions for businesses. As a UX Designer at BMC, you will be responsible for designing and delivering innovative, high-quality product experiences that meet customer needs and exceed expectations.
Participate in ideation sessions led by more senior designers. Contribute ideas and sketches for new features or improvements based on user research findings. Learn to apply basic design thinking methodologies.
Develop and maintain design standards and guidelines that ensure consistency across all products and platforms.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, engineers, and researchers, to define and prioritize product features and requirements.
Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity experience designs that effectively communicate design concepts and solutions to cross-functional teams.
Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices in product design and identify opportunities to improve the user experience.
Work closely with engineering to ensure designs are implemented as intended and collaborate on design-related technical challenges.
Build strong relationships with stakeholders and evangelize the importance of user-centered design throughout the organization.
Qualification
Required
You hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in fine arts, product design, graphic design, Human Computer Interaction (HCI) or a related field with a minimum of 2 years of experience in UX/product design, with a proven track record of designing and delivering successful products.
You can provide a strong portfolio that demonstrates your design skills, process, and impact.
You have expertise in design tools such as Figma and Adobe Creative Suite as well as experience with design systems, component libraries, and design standards.
You have a strong understanding of user-centered design principles, design thinking, and human-computer interaction.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to inspire a team.
Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
You have a proven track record working in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
