Epsilon is a global marketing company that specializes in creating connections between people and brands. They are seeking a Mid-Level Product Designer to leverage their expertise in user research and design processes to develop exceptional user experiences across their product portfolio.
Participate in UX research using industry accepted methodologies and documentation strategies including user personas, site maps, user flows, interviews, card sorting, competitive audits, and market research.
Remain up-to-speed with the latest developments in the practice / profession of design.
Participate in cross-functional project team meetings to help define business requirements while developing advocacy for the Product Design team / discipline.
Combine user needs, business requirements, and technical constraints to build wireframes and prototypes that thoughtfully demonstrate useful, usable, and desirable design concepts and functionality.
Apply user-centered design principles and practices to help create efficient and user-friendly interactive digital products.
Qualification
Required
A minimum of 2 years working in established UX teams, contributing to impactful design projects.
An accessible online portfolio that highlights exceptional design work and process.
Knowledge of UX best practices and the ability to empathize with user needs to create engaging experiences.
Proactively manage tasks and deliverables to meet deadlines effectively.
Strong verbal and written communication to collaborate effectively with teams and stakeholders.
Analytical and creative problem-solving skills to develop innovative and functional solutions.
A good aesthetic sense to craft visually appealing and functional designs.
The ability to set aside biases and incorporate constructive feedback to iterate on designs.
Preferred
A degree in Interaction Design, Graphic Design, Web Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field (preferred).
Figma Proficiency: Adept in using Figma for collaborative design work and creating high-quality prototypes.
Adobe Creative Suite Experience: Familiarity with tools like Photoshop and Illustrator, enabling advanced graphic design capabilities.
Graphic Design Experience: A background in graphic design that enhances visual storytelling and branding within UX projects.
Technical Acumen: High-level understanding of how front-end and back-end web technologies like HTML, CSS, and JavaScript function.
