Responsibilities

  • Create journey maps, based on feedback from our users, business partners, Operations, Supervision and our technology teams
  • Document new personas as needed and refine/update those existing in the persona library
  • Heuristic evaluations of products, services and processes
  • Use proven research practices and methods, tools and techniques; stay current to offer insight on innovation in the UX research space
  • Design, plan and execute research to meet the needs of assigned projects; identify the most appropriate research methods to meet the needs of project-specific assignments
  • Plan, facilitate and capture the results of discovery sessions, process mapping, journey mapping, design-thinking workshops and requirements gathering
  • Capture, analyze and distill user feedback; partner with technology experience consultants and product and capability owners to formulate actionable ideas based on user feedback
  • Deliver relevant, reliable data to inform and influence teams in user-centered design decisions

Qualification

Required

  • Bachelors degree or equivalent experience
  • 2+ years’ experience developing personas, journey maps and epic stories
  • 2+ years’ experience implementing proven research methods, including but not limited to, user interviews, usability testing, card sorting, cognitive walkthroughs, concept testing and competitive analysis
  • End-to-end qualitative and quantitative research skills

Preferred

  • An understanding of the firm’s compliance policies and procedures
  • Strong technology background - able to quickly learn new tools and technologies
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills; detail-oriented
