Target is a retailing company providing access to a wide selection of products such as furniture, electronics, toys, and others. As a UX Researcher within the Loyalty UX Team, you will plan, execute, and synthesize research to create actionable insights for product development while enhancing the digital experience for guests.
Take direction from and collaborate with senior researchers as you conduct and synthesize qualitative and quantitative research projects, such as in person and remote moderated & unmoderated testing, surveys, heuristic reviews, benchmark studies, concept testing, online & in-store intercepts, and ethnographies
Support Lead and Senior Researchers with research requests, from scoping initiatives, executing testing needs and synthesizing findings
Utilize both quantitative and qualitative research methods and know when to use one or the other
Support product teams (product managers, product designers, engineering) throughout the research project life cycle – recommending appropriate methodology, scoping, and coordinating the entire process, facilitating in-field research and post-research synthesis through analysis
Assist the broader UX Research team in keeping our ongoing research library up-to-date and comprehensive
Contribute to a culture of human-centered practice within UX, product, and engineering teams
Navigate complexity and ambiguity delivering impact for guests, team members, and the business
Qualification
Required
1+ year of experience practicing UX design research for digital product teams
Experience in UX Research methods, including remote moderated & unmoderated testing, online & in-context (store) intercepts
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Genuine curiosity about people and experiences
A strong ability to tell compelling stories from data
Comfortable with ambiguity and the ability to prioritize; demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects (both small and large) and adjust to changing priorities
Strong project management skills – experience managing multiple projects at various stages in the product design life cycle
Experience running, recruiting, moderating and analysis of online panels and thinking strategically about their application
Proficient in Powerpoint, Outlook, Word and other MS Office software
Preferred
4-year degree in Anthropology, Social Science, Design Research, Psychology, Human Factors, HCI, or related field.
