Responsibilities

As a key part of Sonnet’s Customer Experience team, you’ll be an active contributor in the creation of innovative, mobile-first designs for sonnet.ca and email marketing, collaborating with internal stakeholders to deliver on business objectives
You’ll identify design solutions and opportunities for enhancements and A/B testing, bringing them to your agile team and Product Owner
You’ll write development stories in Jira, articulating design and accessibility requirements, and will work closely with developers as your enhancements are being developed, understanding technical requirements and limitations
You’ll work in Sonnet’s CMS, building landing pages in partnership with your content counterparts
You’ll also support our Manager, Design on both sonnet.ca design requests, and internal requests, as required

Qualification

Required

A minimum of 2-3 years of relevant working experience in UI/UX Design
Proficiency in a Mac environment with in-depth knowledge of web-design and prototyping software applications, including Figma, Adobe Creative Cloud, Design System Manager
Exceptional ability to communicate design decisions to internal stakeholders and executives
Experience working in a CMS to build pages
You're flexible and thrive in an agile, start-up, team environment
Proficient in identifying and applying web-based trends and technologies
You're exceptionally organized (Jira experience is an asset), resourceful, fast, and have impeccable attention to detail
You're effective and calm when working under pressure
You're always open to learning and expanding
