Electronic Theatre Controls (ETC) is a global leader in visual entertainment technologies. The UX/UI Designer will support product hardware and software development teams by creating interaction designs, user experiences, workflows, prototypes, design systems, and visual assets for ETC products and services.
Establish software workflows including demonstrative mockups, wireframes, and prototypes
Graphic design and asset creation for complete UX/UI concepts
Creation and maintenance of software design systems and guides that establish and/or uphold brand recognition
Participate in traditional design aspects of projects, with focus on user interaction
Qualification
Required
All applicants must have knowledge or experience in UX or UI design
Our ideal candidate will have 2+ years of experience in interaction and user experience design, but we're open to applicants with all levels of experience
Candidates will also be able to demonstrate passion for function and brand while leveraging empathy-driven design thinking
Strong communication in a collaborative team environment and problem-solving skills are a must
Bachelor's Degree in a related design field: Graphic Design/Human Computer Interaction/User Experience Design/Digital Design
All levels of previous job-related experience will be considered
Must be a strong communicator both written and verbally, able to tell stories and visually convey concepts
Demonstrates being a team player, and ability to cooperate and collaborate with stakeholders across the company
Possess an observing eye, constant sense of wonder, and high attention to detail
Proficient using Adobe Creative Cloud, Figma, Sketch
Knowledge of best-in-class design systems such as Material Design, Fluent, Apple HIG, or similar
Knowledge of Accessibility guidelines such as the WCAG
Candidates must be willing to work at our worldwide headquarters in Middleton, WI
