ZAG Interactive is looking for a full-time Web Content and SEO Strategist to join their Marketing team. This role will be responsible for supporting the Marketing, Development and Project Management teams in website content strategy and entry, as well as providing ongoing SEO services for various clients.
Upload and enter site content including imagery, files and text in various Content Management Systems (Kentico, Umbraco, etc.), while raising concerns and recommending alternate content modeling strategies as needed
Work with the marketing and project management teams to support the content strategy and user experience best practices for the website
Collaborate with the internal teams to ensure content is being entered accurately and thoughtfully
Understand and follow website ADA conformance best practices
Edit basic web content within a CMS (training is provided)
Escalate content strategy or user experience concerns
Support multiple projects through internal collaboration
Prioritize requests from different teams and execute accordingly
Provide ongoing SEO services for a variety of clients (mostly financial services) on a project and ongoing basis
Qualification
Required
Interest in a career in digital marketing
BA/BS degree in marketing or communications (or equivalent)
Appreciation for UX and web content best practices
Strong business writing and editing skills
Knowledge of the Microsoft suite
Knowledge of best practices for web creative
Ability to recognize and report issues to other teammates
Experience with using Content Management Systems a plus
Experience supporting standard SEO tactics (keyword research, meta tags, content optimization, technical SEO)
