The Cyber System Security Engineer Associate will define system functionality, design anti-tamper and cybersecurity features, support model-based systems engineering, and coordinate with stakeholders to address technical and programmatic risks.
Define system states, modes, and anti‑tamper/cyber‑security design features for critical subsystems
Develop model‑based systems‑engineering diagrams and timing assessments to characterize system behavior for target use cases
Participate in requirements development, trade studies, implementation, and documentation of anti‑tamper solutions
Assist in creating and maintaining Program Protection Implementation Plans and related artifacts
Coordinate with program leadership, subcontractors, customers, and government review teams to address technical and programmatic risks
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related major
Must have Interim SECRET Clearance to start
Experience with cybersecurity toolsets. This may include work with penetration testing, Nessus, Nmap, Wireshark, Metasploit, or similar skillsets
Familiarity or interest in the fields of cybersecurity. This may include system design and/or vulnerability assessment
MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN – This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must be able to obtain a secret clearance. A company-sponsored interim secret clearance is required to start
Preferred
Experience with software assurance: Coverity and Fortify highly preferred
Experience with operating systems: Kali Linux (preferred), Windows, etc
Experience delivering written / oral presentations to program personnel and customers
Ability to think critically to find optimal approaches to difficult design issues
Active clearance required, within scope if possible
