Responsibilities

  • The Top Secret Control Officer (TSCO) will be responsible for the supervision of the Top Secret control program.
  • The TSCO will receive, transmit, and maintain current access and accountability records for Top Secret information.
  • The Top Secret documents and material will be accounted for by a continuous chain of receipts.
  • Maintain an accurate inventory of Top-Secret documents will be audited at least annually.
  • Ensure destruction of Top-Secret material is appropriately processed and documentation accurately maintained,
  • The TSCO will develop procedures for the accountability and control of all accountable classified material.
  • Support classified security programs and provide expertise in all security functions in accordance with the DoD Special Access Program (SAP) Security Manuals (DoD Manual 5205.07 Volumes 1-4) and the National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM), and other applicable security regulations and requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with government and corporate security policies/procedures.

Qualification

Required

  • 2 years of related experience with a bachelors degree, 0 years of experience with a masters degree; 4 years of additional related experience may be considered in lieu of a bachelors degree.
  • Must have US Citizenship with an active U.S. Government DoD Top Secret security clearance at time of application, current and within scope, with an ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) approval within a reasonable Counterintelligence, as determined by the company to meet its business need.
  • Computer and desktop Microsoft office software products experience.
  • Must be detail-oriented and have meticulous record-keeping skills (this position will be responsible for accurate data input into multiple databases/spreadsheets).

Preferred

  • Contractor Program Security Officer (CPSO) experience.
  • Top Secret Control Officer (TSCO) experience.
  • Self-starter with minimal supervision.
  • Familiarity with Security Information Management System (SIMs).
  • Familiarity 32 CFR Part 117 (NISPOM) and DoD 5200 manuals.
  • Ability to excel in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Organized and efficient at time management.
  • Excellent spoken and written communication skills.
