The Business Intelligence Reporting Analyst II is responsible for providing strategic insight and decision support to enhance business operations, collaborating closely with internal teams to generate reports and drive informed decision-making.
Manages complex and high-visibility requests from all business areas with minimal supervision.
Acts as a liaison between Operations, Sales, and business unit stakeholders to elicit, define, analyze, communicate, and validate requirements for changes to existing business processes, policies, technology, and information systems to alleviate business issues. Provides recommendations to stakeholders regarding effective and efficient approaches to achieve project objectives.
Prepares business documents and presentations for upper management and executives, leveraging data-gathering and modeling strategies. Has a direct role in designing and developing reporting and insights deployed across the organization.
Exercises sound judgment while analyzing and interpreting data to ensure high accuracy, timeliness, and usefulness for business leaders.
Builds and designs visual tools such as dashboards to assist management in quickly understanding current business trends.
Partners with other project areas such as IT, Operations, and Product Management to coordinate interdependencies, resolve issues, better understand the current shortcomings in reporting technology, and devise solutions to enhance reporting and data management.
Identifies and resolves data quality issues to ensure all data is pulled from different source files accurately and consistently.
Ensures a high level of security, accuracy, and efficiency. Conducts and/or participates in routine audits of data storage systems and databases, performing many tests and analyzing the results before devising new solutions or finding ways to enhance data management solutions.
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree - Required
2 years of experience in Business or Financial Analyst. SQL, VBA, Access, PowerBI and/or Business Objects experience.
Accountability Expert - Required
Analytical Skills Experienced - Required
Business Intelligence Reporting Intermediate - Required
