V2X is a leading provider of critical mission solutions and support to defense clients globally. They are seeking a Data Analyst to join their Mobile Sensors program team, focusing on transforming operational data into actionable insights to support engineering and operations decision-making.
Analyze large datasets to extract insights that support engineering and operations decision-making
Use MATLAB extensively for data modeling, simulation, signal analysis, and custom tool development
Support creation and maintenance of internal Power BI dashboards and visual reports
Write and maintain SQL queries and scripts for extracting and transforming data from internal databases
Assist in maintaining documentation, including data dictionaries, query libraries, and tool usage guides
Support the design, testing, and deployment of new data tools and scripts for automation and performance analysis
Work closely with engineering and technical teams to understand data needs and validate output accuracy
Participate in internal briefings and discussions to present findings and demonstrate new tools

Qualification
Required
Strong proficiency with MATLAB (academic or project-based experience acceptable)
Familiarity with SQL and relational databases (e.g., SQL Server, Snowflake, Oracle)
Exposure to data visualization tools like Power BI or similar
Basic understanding of data analysis workflows, including ETL concepts and automation scripting
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Effective written and verbal communication skills for internal technical discussions
U.S. Citizenship required
Secret Clearance
Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field such as Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or related discipline
Preferred
Working knowledge of at least one programming language such as Python or C is a plus
