The Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) Systems Analyst I will formulate and define systems scope and objectives, drive key project deliverables, and ensure the effective implementation of EDI exchanges.
Develops a comprehensive understanding of the business rules, core platforms, and applications for the data used in EDI exchanges.
Supports the design and implementation of end-to-end frameworks for processing accumulator exchanges, ensuring they meet both business needs and industry standards.
Facilitates and leads discussions with plans and other stakeholders to identify and clarify requirements, review test cases, and ensure alignment on project objectives and deliverables, communicating effectively throughout the process.
Develops comprehensive documentation outlining business rules, process flows, and technical specifications.
Conducts end-to-end testing with prior experience in developing and performing test scenarios.
Works with vendors regarding the implementation or connectivity related to EDI system.
Troubleshoots with vendors any conversion or system issues.
Works in some phases of EDI systems analysis.
Works with Information Technology for any EDI enhancements or conversion of new accounts.
Qualification
Required
Requires an BA/BS degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field of study.
A minimum of 2 years of related healthcare experience including EDI and ANSI experience.
Any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.
Preferred
Knowledge of systems capabilities and business operations highly preferred.
Experience with Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) highly preferred.
Experience in Flexcare, CAS, AS400, Informatica, highly preferred.
Intermediate to advanced Excel skills preferred.
Beginner to intermediate SQL skills preferred.
