Global Data Strategy Analyst

The Global Data Strategy Analyst will help shape Equifax’s Data Strategy and execute that strategy across various business units and countries. Key responsibilities include supporting strategic planning, partnering on high-priority projects, and developing a global data scorecard.

Responsibilities

  • Combine internal and external intel on data trends, distill key insights, and articulate relevant opportunities and approaches for Equifax data.
  • Support the head of Global Data Strategy in assisting BUs in countries to develop and harmonize data strategy against global data priorities and vice versa.
  • Support the head of Global Data Strategy to help identify global needs across geographies to guide global data priorities and resources.
  • Partner with the business units/ countries on strategic projects and establishing standard processes: (e.g., data expansion opportunities and processes, growth opportunities).
  • Work closely with BU/country teams to create a data scorecard for monitoring the health and value of data.
  • Independently provide actionable insights through well-designed visualizations and interactive dashboards using tools such as Tableau or Looker.

Qualification

Required

  • Bachelor's degree in related discipline required.
  • A minimum of 2 years' experience (this can include internships) in the following: Data analysis, product management, and/or consulting experience regarding data, preferably financial services data.
  • Complex data analysis, visualization, and development of insights based on the data.
  • Developing compelling presentations for senior leaders.
  • Basic experience with ETL tools and scripting languages (e.g., Python, SQL) and Data visualization platforms (e.g., Tableau, Looker, Power BI). This could be through a school course, certification or work project.

Preferred

  • Masters in Analytics or similar degree.
  • Independent in thinking and framing problems, driven by intellectual curiosity.
  • Strong quantitative and problem solving skills.
  • Executive presence and comfort when presenting to senior leaders.
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Proven ability to influence and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to align and coordinate internal resources.
  • Cloud experience, especially Google Cloud Platform experience and/or a certification.
  • Data Strategy consulting experience.
  • Experience with data governance tools (Collibra, Informatica, etc.).
  • Experience in developing KPI and OKR programs.
  • Process design or process improvement experience.
